Norilsk Nickel’s RAS net profit soars 80% to 89 bln rbl Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian metals producer Norilsk Nickel grew 77.8% on the year to 89.328 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Monday.

Revenue grew 45.8% to 280.29 billion rubles, the gross profit increased 58.4% to 176.73 billion rubles, sales profit 63.3% to 156 billion rubles. The pretax profit increased 70% to 112.13 billion rubles.
